Schools welcome over 18,500
during first week
 Pearland ISD wrapped up the
first week of the 2010-11 school year with an
enrollment of 18,557 students at 23 campuses.
Several community partners also donated
backpacks and school supplies to help students
return to classes prepared. Read

High schools stage 'Godspell,'
'Ladies Man'
 Dawson and Pearland
high schools are kicking off their 2010-11 theatre
seasons with two high-energy shows. The
off-Broadway sensation Godspell takes the DHS stage
for its final run Sept. 2 and 4, and PHS will trot
out the comedy The Ladies Man Sept. 16-18 and
23-25. |
